Santa time!

Here I am, trying to keep up with blogging, but it sure is hard during the holiday season. Its been busy over here, preparing for Christmas, doing mini shoots, spending time with the family. Recently, my church had a Christmas party for the kiddos. I was in charge of doing the Santa pics. (Excited, because I borrowed a flash and was able to practice shooting flash style, something I need). The kids were all dressed in their PJs, too fun. I love these pics of my boys!

Kevin is so funny. He’s growing so fast, and talking so much, sort of:) He does sign language a lot with us, which is supremely helpful. I was wondering if he would freak out when he sat with Santa. He just started saying “Mama” over and over again, and tried hard to convey his thoughts with Santa. These shot of him is so fun, as you can see his little conversation with Santa.

My big boy, Ethan, who’s almost ready to enter the sunbeams class at church. Shaun and I teach the 6 year olds in Primary. Last Sunday, the nursery class came in for a little bit, getting ready to enter next month. I almost started crying seeing Ethan in there. Seriously, where did the time go? Of course, Shaun and I kept watching him, seeing if he would stay in his chair or not. He did good with that, so there’s hope. A cute little girl sat by him, and he started growling in her face and poking her. She kept getting mad at him, and a teacher came over to help out. Yes, that’s my Ethan. Goodness:)

I can’t wait to give the boys their Christmas gifts, and play with them. We started back in September, just getting one present a paycheck. Not much, but at least some new toys, trucks and trains. Preparing for mass fighting, but hopefully it will be peaceful:)

One a side note, I launched my new website for the photography business, wee! Here’s hoping for more shoots in the new year.

Getting one present a paycheck--that's a great idea! I'll have to remember that for next year.
