Christmas is coming!

Well, this is the week, the week of Christmas! How exciting:) It just seems that this month has been so busy. I have not blogged and read other blogs in awhile, due to some pressing assignment each week. A photo shoot to edit, presents to get ready, helping out at church. I'm sorry I haven't read your blogs, my dear friends. Forgive me. I'm behind on this blog, too, but wanted to share something today.

Last year, I discovered this amazing singer, Sissel. She sings the music to "Titanic", the music you hear when the movie begins. Voice of an angel, crystal clear tonality, just gorgeous. She sang with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir a few years ago, for their Christmas celebration. I found the DVD of the whole show, and went bonkers with joy. Its been playing for the past 2 days straight. Yesterday in church, I had the wonderful opportunity to sing solo with the ward choir, singing "Silent Night". I am by far, no Sissel, but it was so fun to sing into a microphone with an amazing choir singing their awesome harmonies with me. So fun. I love music. I can't wait to work on my music website project next year!

This is one of my favorite songs on there. Its not in English, but some of the most gorgeous songs are never in English. Hello, Josh Groban songs :D

I hope everyone has some peace and contentment with this Christmas. Shaun and I wrapped the presents we got a few months ago. We had to dig them out of the garage. Its hard to hide presents from an adventurous explorer who's bent on finding anything new in the house:) I can't wait to play with the boys, and watch them go nuts over the trains. We got a Geo Trax train set, that can have more tracks and goodies added on to it. Thought it would be a good investment.
Merry Christmas, everyone!!

I heard she did a great job with the MoTab. She would have been great to see live.

Beautiful performance by Sissel. Thanks for sharing!
Since you like good music, if you haven't already, you should check out liahona.net. It has hymns/choir selections/sacred music performed by professional and semi-professional artists available for free download. I got the tip from BYU magazine. Seems like it is up your alley.

Very beautiful. I remember we lived in SLC when she came to sing for the Christmas concert and my younger brother was able to go with his high school choir! Lucky. :) Hope you have a very merry Christmas!
